# donatelli.tech (also called Donatelli Services, Donatelli) > donatelli.tech is a remote operations and automation practice for owner-run businesses, run by Nick Donatelli from San Marcos, CA: lead intake and pipeline automation, work-management setup and migration, knowledge bases for AI assistants, and operations playbooks. Fixed price, built on accounts the client owns. It is not a construction, design-build or general contracting firm. Who it is for: owner-run businesses where the owner is still the router. Contractors, trades, design and field-service firms, and small professional practices, usually a few to a few dozen people. How it works: a free 30-minute intro call, paid discovery credited back against the build, a fixed-price proposal (one scope, one price, one date), a remote build on the client's own accounts, handoff with training and a written fix-it guide, optional monthly support. No hourly meter, no retainer required. Not offered (the full list, same as the one on the site): custom software, marketing of any kind (ads, SEO, social media, content), bookkeeping or payroll or tax or legal, IT support, work on accounts I own rather than yours, open-ended hourly work, strategy decks, acting as your operations manager. Who: Nick Donatelli, based in San Marcos, CA (San Diego County), on Pacific time, working remotely with clients across the US. Solo practice: the person on the call is the person doing the build. Contact: hello@donatelli.tech · Book an intro call: https://donatelli.tech/book/ ## Pages - [Home](https://donatelli.tech/): positioning, the four services, who it is for, how an engagement runs, what is out of scope - [Services](https://donatelli.tech/services/): each service in detail: what it is, what you get, when it fits, what it is not, and the questions asked before a first call - [Process](https://donatelli.tech/process/): the six-step engagement, what the client owns at the end, what is needed from them - [Work](https://donatelli.tech/work/): selected work, 5 builds, every figure dated; one page per build (listed below) - [About](https://donatelli.tech/about/): who runs the practice, where from, and what is deliberately not offered - [Security practices](https://donatelli.tech/security/): how access to client systems is handled: named users the client provisions and revokes, least privilege per system, data retention, incident notice, credentials and insurance, with the check for each claim - [Book](https://donatelli.tech/book/): book the free 30-minute intro call ## Selected work - [Lead bridge: Two CRMs that could not say when anything changed.](https://donatelli.tech/work/lead-bridge/): Six lead sources. Two CRMs that could not say when anything changed. Every side effect had to happen once. - [Permit signal: A weekly pipeline over public data that moves every time it is published.](https://donatelli.tech/work/permit-signal/): Public data behind links that stop working on every release. Ranked into a route the field team can drive. - [Document search: Seven sets of help pages, searchable inside the assistant they already used.](https://donatelli.tech/work/document-search/): Seven vendors' help pages, built to one shape. Answers name their source, inside the assistant already open. - [Warehouse assistant: An assistant that reaches a warehouse without being handed the keys to it.](https://donatelli.tech/work/warehouse-assistant/): An assistant connected to a named warehouse system: sixteen commands, one that writes, six checks run again at the moment of the change. No client in it. - [Design-build contractor: A San Diego design-build contractor.](https://donatelli.tech/work/design-build-contractor/): Lead intake, a job pipeline, a knowledge base, and the playbook to match, set up remotely on the client's own accounts. ## Services - Lead intake & pipeline automation: Every inquiry — web form, phone, text, email, referral — lands in one pipeline, gets an acknowledgment within minutes, and moves through stages you can see. Follow-ups fire on their own. Nothing depends on someone remembering. - Work-management setup & migration: Your jobs in a tool that matches how the work actually moves — set up from scratch, or migrated off the tool that stopped fitting. Boards, statuses, ownership, and only the automations that earn their keep. History comes along. - Knowledge bases for AI assistants: Your pricing rules, process steps, templates and tribal knowledge, organized so an assistant answers from your facts instead of guessing. Works with Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, or the assistant built into your tools. - Operations playbooks: The written version of how the business runs: intake to invoice, who does what, what “done” means. Short enough that people use it, and matched to the systems above so the document and the tool agree. ## Typical tools monday.com, ClickUp, Asana, Trello, Airtable, Notion, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Zapier, Make, n8n. AI assistants: Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, or the assistant built into the client's tools.
